ways to fund raise money
1: making a lemonade stand and selling drinks and you can use honey instead of sugar.
2:another way of fundraising is to let people have a turn on your bike for money
3:last way of making money is finding jobs from other people like gardening,car washing, anything.

When I was a kid, one of my friends used to raise money in an unusual way. He had a pet calf. He would take the calf down the road, and wait for a car to come along. When he heard the car, he would sit backwards on his calf on the side of the road. People would stop and ask if they could take a photo of him on his calf, and he would make them pay before he sat on the calf for them!

ReplyDeleteI was telling my husband about your fundraising ideas tonight. He told me about his father who was a teenager in Holland during the depression. He used to raise rabbits and sell them for people to eat..
I don't know if anybody in New Zealand did this during the depression.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you've been completing activities with the Summer Learning Journey. I loved reading your fundraising ideas. They were very creative, ka pai! I think doing jobs for others is an awesome way to help families out.
