My name is Clare and I am part of the Summer Learning Journey. I am really excited to be visiting your blog and seeing all the incredible things you are learn create and sharing.
This painting is such an incredible one to sit and look at.. I find myself thinking about how the painter painted it and how long it took to create. I like how you mentioned the detail the painter included. Personally I really enjoy painting and think its a really relaxing thing to do for fun. Do you also like painting?
Have you ever seen any other artists like this one or know of any? It would be great if you could add more detail in and write more ideas to support your 4 star rating. Thanks for adding the image so your readers can see the art you are talking about. Maybe one day you will get to paint also.
This is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey. I will also be reading on commenting on your blog over the summer break. I hope you are spending a wonderful time with your family and friends! Do you enjoy doing the SLJ activities? Let me know what you think in the comment :)
This is a painting of a women in 1920s aka 'The Jazz Age'! Women were free spirited as women gained their freedom and independence. The 1920's Fashion trends were the shorter, low-waisted dresses and revealing styles. I think this painting also shows the free spirited women, her facial expression portrays her as a very chic and stylish woman. What do you think?
I also like all the detail and delicacy of the painting. The brush strokes are very smooth, therefore the painting looks very smooth and shiny. The reflection of the light also fascinates me.
I would've really liked to hear about why you like that painting. I would give 4 stars out of 5. I look forward to reading more of your blog posts! Keep on blogging :)
