home made chocolate

60g cow butter
½ Cup Chelsea Golden Syrup
1 cup extra virgin wild organic coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract or essence
½ Cup cocoa powder



In a large pot melt the butter and golden syrup over a low-moderate heat until it is blended and maybe even bubble a little, then remove it from the heat.

Add the rest of the ingredients and fold them in. You may need to sift the cocoa powder.

This sounds strange, but place the pot in the freezer. 
Every 5-10 minutes blend the ingredients until it thick and getting difficult to blend.

Place the mixture into a paper-lined tray and place into the freezer.
After about 5-10 minutes score it and then start eating.

Keep it in the fridge or freezer because it melts very easily

Whaea Clare and I found this on Google because I don't like the taste of chocolate my mum makes with Kremelta.  Whaea Clare reckons this one sounds pretty yum!
i like any type of chocolate.

    Thanks for sharing a recipe to make chocolate! I have never made chocolate before. Have you tried this recipe out yet? I would love to know if its a good recipe, I really want to try it. Do you do get the chance to do much baking at home?

    I’m the baker in my house. I live with five of my friends and they love it when they come home from university or work to fresh baking!
